Here is the short story how it all began.
About twenty years ago I bought a Vespa Popolino 1967. A very economic means of conveyance. Many mpg and reasonable insurance costs made it an attractive alternative. I bought it cheap, it was a real kill. I allways do good business. Do not listen to my wife. It is really true. Well, the Vespa didn't start at first kick so I left it standing for about fifteen years but that didn't help!!! To make it short I had to make an almost complete restoration and found it very enjoyable. When it was finished I had to have another objekt and it just happened to be a Panther. Naturally in boxes but that is a long story. I started reading about Panthers, bought "The Book" and was fascinated by the story.
Now I have two Panthers. One 1952 M100 and the one from the boxes, a 1951 M75, which is almost finished. Am allready thinking about the next projekt.
By the way. Last summer we, my wife and I, bought a sidecar. A real bargain of course. Probably it only takes another five or ten years to get it on the road.
