Bowling game from Access, makers of Leaderboard. This is not so unlike the golf game actually, the control of the bowler is much the same as that of the golfer. Pretty average stuff, but not bad.

This classic dart game was released as a budget game, but is far better than most budget releases. The goal is to win the pub dart competition, a game of "501", I think it's called. The title refers to the best score you can get in a round.
720 °

One of many skating games for the C64. This one takes place in... a skate park! You skate around and participate in various events such as slalom and jumping. Meanwhile you try to do as many tricks as possible to get new tickets to the events. Very fun, once you get the hang of the controls.
Barry McGuigan World Championship Boxing
Packed size: 24k
Original size: 44k
Format: P00

Create a boxer from scratch (choose hair color, etc) and begin your climb to the top. You do this by training, and of course by boxing higher ranked boxers. The boxing itself isn't too special, it's pretty slow and tactical. I like it though. And seeing your boxer improve as you progress is fun too.
BMX Simulator
Packed size: 31k
Original size: 47k
Format: P00
Doc: No
Ride your BMX bike through a series of courses, and compete with a friend or the computer. Pretty fun, but also pretty hard - to go fast you have to try to make use of the ramps.

Often hailed as the best in Epyx's "Games"-series, this multi-event game takes you to California, where you compete in six events, like Half pipe, Surfing and Foot bag (picture). It's a great game, with very good graphics and fun events.
Cup final
Packed size: 11k
Original size: 17k
Format: P00

The first game I played on the C64. My father had it on cartridge. The first, and probably the best soccer game for the C64. Though graphics are large and blocky, and ball handling is so-so and there's no passing, this remains a totally playable game. It just gives me this "wow"-feeling. A classic.
Decathlon
Packed size: 15k
Original size: 22k
Format: P00

In this classic from Activision, you really work up some sweat, at least if you go for all ten events. The basic technique applies to all events: wiggle the joystick as fast as you can. Believe me, after nine events you're getting tired. And the 1500 meters race still remains...
Exploding fist
Packed size: 50k
Original size: 50k
Format: P00
Doc: No
This was the first really good fighting game. On any computer. The game featured a wide variety of moves (for its time), good graphics, but above all, great control. Luck had nothing (or at least little) to do with winning.
Fight Night
Packed size: 61k
Original size: 171k
Format: D64
Doc: No
Fight Night is a boxing game with cool cartooney graphics and ok gameplay. And you can create your own boxer and make him look rather ridiculous. Pretty fun.
NOTE: This game does not work with CCS64 V1.09. It works with the CCS64 2.0 BETA though.
International hockey
Packed size: 26k
Original size: 44k
Format: P00
Doc: No
A great computer game with all the ingredients of a real hockey game: excitement, hard shots, amazing saves, roughing, fighting, and a mad crowd. It even has a commentator's voice. Good fun for anyone who likes hockey.
International karate
Packed size: 33k
Original size: 45k
Format: P00

This is really a rip-off of Exploding Fist (see above). The games are almost identical, even most of the moves are the same. However, this game has even better graphics, especially animation-wise. And that is the reason why I actually prefer it to its predecessor.
International tennis
Packed size: 14k
Original size: 21k
Format: P00
Doc: No
A good tennis game that may be lacking in real control, but makes up for it in speed and simplicity.

Leaderboard
and
Leaderboard Executive

Packed size: 31k, 33k
Original size: 44k, 48k
Format: P00, P00
Doc: No
Leaderboard is the game that set the standard of all golf games to come. Now, I am no golf fan, but I found this game highly addictive. The game had a good control method for power and hooking - if the ball went somewhere you didn't intend it, you could only blame yourself (or your cursed joystick).
The first Leaderboard game played on some fictitious course that only had fairways, greens and water. Later versions (like Executive) added trees, rough and bunkers.
Match point
Packed size: 19k
Original size: 38k
Format: P00

Care for a game of tennis? Care for a game of slow tennis? Care for a game of tennis on some planet where gravity is lower than here and air is viscous? Then try a game of "Match point"!
It's not as bad as it sounds, in fact it plays very well. But it wouldn't hurt to speed it up a little.

Olympic skier

Packed size: 9k
Original size: 23k
Format: P00
Doc: No
Skiing game where you compete in three events actually: slalom, ski jump and downhill. The game is very fun, and for each event you get a score which in the end leads to a final rating. I've managed "hilarious" and "amusing". And that's really what the game is as well.

One on one

Packed size: 21k
Original size: 36k
Format: P00

One on one basketball with Larry Bird and Dr J. The game is pretty fun in two-player mode, but the true highlight is when you manage to smash the basket board and the janitor has to clean up.
Pool
Packed size: 7k
Original size: 9k
Format: P00
Doc: No
Very simple pool game. Aim and select strength and you're off. This level of complexity is just about right for me, so of course I love this game.
Rock'n'wrestle
Packed size: 42k
Original size: 61k
Format: P00
Doc: C64
Great wrestling game with a large number of moves. Meet dreaded opponents like Redneck McCoy and Angry Abdul in your quest for the title.
Ski
Packed size: 8k
Original size: 13k
Format: P00
Doc: No
This is a very basic skiing game. Fun though.
Star League Baseball
Packed size: 18k
Original size: 34k
Format: P00

An early baseball game, and a rather crude one. Still, the only baseball game I've ever really played and liked.
The control is very simple, which is good in my opinion. Throwing curve balls takes a little practice though.
Summer Games

The game that started it all off. The first in Epyx's classic series, and in my opinion the worst. But I guess I should say "least good", because this is a very good game, at least half of it. I really could do without 2*running and 2*swimming, because they're really no fun. The other events, like Platform diving, are great fun.
Summer Games II
Packed size: 168k
Original size: 341k
Format: D64 (2)

Doc: C64
The second summer games is better than the first, with more variation in events. And though some may seem simple, like the Javelin, they are actually pretty difficult to master and provide a challenge.
Uchi Mata
Packed size: 31k
Original size: 47k
Format: P00

A game of judo, which is not as violent as karate. Instead of beating your opponent, you must make him lose his balance and throw him onto the mat. A complex sport that turned into a really playable game.

This game provides a mix of great events (like the Hot Dog and Ski jump) and sad events (Figure skating). The good events are good enough to make this a very good game though.

In World Games, you compete in different (and strange) events from all over the world. Cliff diving, Bull riding and Log rolling are some examples. This one and California games are the best in the series.
